For a short period of time, I effectively had “free” health insurance in the U.S. through a small leftwing labor union.

The health insurance plan had a high deductible but with zero employee contributions.

On the back end, a pre-loaded HSA card covered ALL out of pocket expenses within limit.

UPDATE: A federal judge denied ex-Anaheim Chamber of Commerce CEO Todd Ament's attempt to withdraw from his plea deal in connection w/ the FBI's political corruption probe.

But his sentencing hearing has been pushed to Dec. 12, in part, to consider the chamber's push for victim status in the case.

I wonder if a lot of couples who want to start a family but can’t afford it will move to New Mexico on account of this.

The state is not densely populated. There could be a number of impacts.
