We need a game plan in case we get back control of the country, so some things can't happen again. Mainly, limits on presidential authority, although there are other issues. The fact that needed protections are not in place has become painfully obvious recently.

I haven't seen it explicitly stated, but it sounds like the drones that went into Poland did not carry explosives.

For several years we've been hearing Russia's economy is about to collapse & obviously the early reports were not accurate, & I would assume more recent reports are probably also based on speculation. So I did a little looking up to see where things are. I'll reply to this message with what I found.

It occurs to me that there needs to be a consistent policy of calling Putin out on b*******. When he s his lack of remorse is showing and makes them believe more severe punishment is needed. It needs to be publicly & repeatedly stated that his trolling is recognized & shows he has a bad attitude.

I wonder how well Putin understands the American election cycle. Trump is probably about a quarter of the way through this period when he has congressional support. His power will be severely curtailed in the midterms, at the end of 2026.

If the US doesn't allow selling Patriot & ATACMS missiles to Ukraine now that they have launchers etc, it will harm the US defense industry.
Once buyers of US military equipment realize it can be made useless by the US government blocking consumables & parts being sold to them, they won't buy it.
