I was gonna comment on your first post by saying that while I think the cards we've seen are really interesting and creative so far, I've been worried about the recent trend of in-universe sets increasingly relying on references and callbacks, so I'm happy to see you point that out as well.

Finally back on here after my PC had been broken for the past 2 weeks. Won this with Cradle Nadu at a local tournament a couple of weeks ago.

3-0-1 at the local Legacy monthly with Cradle Nadu. I felt lost in the format ever since the lack of BnR update, but I think I found a comfortable spot.

Yeah, she's probably the best generic card in Legacy right now. I love playing with her and would be a bit sad to see her gone, but part of me would also be excited to play UB with 4 Strix if she does leave. I'm gonna be on UR Cutter for now though, deck is fun

Sounds like I picked a good deck for this weekend then - UR has also performed really well in my testing. UB Tempo can be a tough matchup, but mainly if they run Barrowgoyf main. UR can usually go wide around Nethergoyf with Cutter and win the race in most situations.

I this this is a neat card and I'm tempted to try building something with it for Legacy. But realistically speaking, Barrowgoyf is probably just better as a 3 drop.

I'm still enjoying playing with Kaito, Bane of Nightmares quite a lot - UB Tempo/Midrange has felt super solid and that card is always fun.
Another one I've found surprisingly good is 1 Abhorrent Oculus in UB Reanimator. It's a great smaller MV Entomb target, too.
