The DOJ appears to have surveilled members of Congress who were looking through unredacted pages in the Epstein files and provided that information to Pam Bondi for her hearing before the House Judiciary Committee.

I agree. So why are Russia and Saudi Arabia choosing our president?

Republicans have never, ever really believed in a free market. That's always been a scam. They've now also abandoned any pretense of believing in the Constitution.

First, think about the Trump cabinet’s predilection for trafficking and raping girls and young women. Then imagine what is happening in ICE detention centers and holding cells all over the country.

They are unaccountable to law. They are limited only by their morality, of which they have none.

Epstein is the biggest cover up by the US government ever.

Period.

If you experienced even one moment of joy today, congratulations. You had more happiness and brightness in your day than any single MAGA person did.

They are such angry, miserable people. It seems exhausting.

This rhetorical strategy is so maddening.

Q: "Is it raining outside?"
A: "In 2021 someone from your state walked out of self-checkout without paying for one of the 12 items they claimed to have purchased and you did nothing. How dare you ask me about the weather!"
holy shit -- Bondi's new tactic is refusing to answer Democratic questions, then using time during the next Republican questioner to smear the previous Democratic member and accuse them of being complicit in violence crimes

The billionaire class took over our government and is waging war against us.

That’s what is happening.

Fifteen years ago, I got my dream job writing for MLSsoccer. Last week, that came to an end.

I'm off on my own, and it's time to build something new – with a little help from all of you.

Pam Bondi is having a very bad day and, not incidentally, committed felony perjury along the way.

This administration is a crime syndicate, not a government.

People support this man. I will never understand it.
Trump: "So I put on a 30% tariff, which is very low. I got an emergency call from I believe the prime minister of Switzerland. She was very aggressive ... I didn't really like the way she talked to us, so instead of giving her a reduction, I raised it to 39%."

Aside from the fact that Trump doesn't know who he's taking to, it seems tariffs are assigned by likability and fealty to Trump.

"It's fine that girls were trafficked and raped by the most powerful men on the planet in a worldwide money laundering conspiracy because the stock market bubble is fully inflated" is quite the argument.
Bondi crashes out over Epstein: "The Dow is over 50,000 dollars! I don't know why you're laughing. You're a great stock trader as I hear, Raskin. The Dow is over 50,000 right now. The S&P at almost 7,000, and the Nasdaq smashing records. That's what we should be talking about."

Since when is event security part of the job description for DHS, CBP, or ICE?
February 11, 2026 at 5:25 PM
Someone should write a post about the number of people in downtown Seattle today for the Seahawks parade and the roughly equal amount of times Trump appears in the Epstein child rape, human trafficking, and money laundering files.

1,000,000 is a lot of people.

I do not care for this woman.
wow -- Bondi throws a fit in response to Nadler's question about how many of Epstein's co-conspirators, if any, she's investigating, aggressively pointing at him and yelling. The hearing then devolves into chaos and Raskin and Bondi start yelling at each other.

Statistically speaking, the best way to combat any illegal voting there may be is to encourage more people to vote, not fewer.

I'm surprised so many conservatives care about the Superbowl halftime show.

I was told they were all boycotting the league in September 2016 after Colin Kaepernick quietly knelt in protest of police violence against Black Americans.

Did they cancel that super effective boycott and I missed it?

I think more than I should about the - mostly apocryphal - stories about WW2 fighters being stranded on remote islands and believing, decades later that they were still fighting the same war.

The GOP is fighting a war that has been over since at least 1990.
