it's not a scientific term. colloquial language is defined by how people use it.

if other people understand what you mean when you say a word, it's the correct word.

panther just isn't a scientific term. it means whatever people say it does colloquially.

calling pumas panthers is no more or less correct than jaguars or leopards

now, *panthera* is a scientific term, and it refers to the genus which includes jaguars, leopards, lions, snow leopards, and tigers.

sort of. people call all sorts of things panthers, they don't refer to just one species.

black panthers can either refer to melanated leopards *or* to melanated jaguars, which are different species

and some people do call pumas panthers!

I often wonder how much the economics would change if you just took away rent. it would mean businesses could sell for lower prices and customers could buy for higher

27 (and approximately healthy) to 32 (and quite chronically ill) and I still look younger now than I used to, lmao

me pre-transition, sporting a trimmed beard and mustache, contemplating a woodworking project with my arm crossed over my chest and my index finger resting of my lips. I have curly brown hair which would be considered a medium long for a guy and quite short for a girl. I am wearing blue jeans and a black mag fest t-shirt. there is a silver wedding band on my left ring finger. I am white, and ethnically ashkenazi jewish (fuck Israel)

me after transition, sitting in my office chair with my feet elevated for POTS reasons. I have long curly brown hair that is quite messy in this picture because it needs to be washed. I am wearing gray sweatpants and a brick red "desert bus for hope" t-shirt, and a black heart rate monitor armband. a tattoo of a flower is partially visible on my forearm. ally beardsley it's partly visible on dimension 20 on my computer monitor in the background. I have round silver framed glasses, and dark bags under my eyes, yet I still look younger than my 27-year-old self. if I went on medi-cal, I'd have to replace a number of people on my medical team, and it's so hard to find good doctors in the first place

to get benefits I not only couldn't marry my partner, I would also have to give her all my savings.

which is a kind of crazy thing to do when you're expressly *not* married to somebody!

and who knows how long it would be before I even got anything

for example, I'm willing to let landlords keep the deeds to other people's homes, as long as we also abolish police and prisons

(I'm sure people will continue paying rent if the landlords just ask politely, with no ability to enforce their "ownership")

one of the others looks like cetirizine hcl (zyrtec)

the white capsule looks like a vitamin C supplement

not sure about the others, wouldn't guessed bupropion for the red ones but you said you're not on antidepressants

partly bc they're the only media can easily tolerate with these chronic migraines
