All you need to do is peel back the sticker and invert the bucket over the crown board! No need for a feeder!!!

Give them 14kg of the finest syrup available and they will be up to weight and ready for winter in one feed! Easy!! 😊👍🏻🐝

By placing a bag over the top it stops any robbing in its tracks.
There are two types of bin bags. Good ones and bad ones. Always use good ones as the bad ones will rip easy.
We got these bags from Simon Safety and they’re really good!! 💪🏻

Clearer boards are in! Using Viktors bin bag method to stop robbing!

Honey supers are left exposed when the clearer boards are in.
Other bees or wasps can steal the honey especially when the bees have all moved into the brood box.

Turns out that drone is actually pretty amazing for the money and that’s the only one I’ve used. I feel now that I’m ready for a better one. One that’s a bit better flying in the wind and more stable.

What would you suggest? Any drone experts out there?

Filming with the drone has really improved the quality of my Beekeeing videos. I purchased the DJI Neo mainly because I was scared to crash an expensive drone.
Turns out that drone is actually pretty amazing for the money and that’s the only one I’ve used.

Found this swarm under one of the stands. The bees must have swarmed and started building a nest under the hive stand.
We have left these in the past but they never survive the Welsh Winter.
Best to get these bees working in another colony.

It’s Harvest Time right across the Country! In Wales we normally crop the honey once a year. This harvest is a year’s worth of work for the beekeeper and the bee.
It’s truly a magical time of year. Bringing that liquid gold back home to the farm. 🐝
