Well, it's also time to move the thread of works that I consume from Twitter to here as a backup.

So let's get started.
Day 310: Donnie Darko

“Whatever happens, be honest, even if they look at you funny. What you have to understand is that almost all of those people are fakes. They're all part of a big conspiracy of lies. And they're afraid, because they know you're smarter than all of them.”

“If you are afraid of dying and cling to life, you will see demons that will take your life away. But if you have made peace, then the demons will become angels that will free you from the earth.”

bsky.app/profile/gwrh... Aqui la version gringa
Well, this is the culmination of Daniel Craig's final Bond film, as well as the entire saga (for now) of the legendary UK agent who has been with us since the 1960s to the present day, allowing us to see what he is capable of on the big screen today.
bsky.app/profile/gwrh... Here the latin version
And ending on a not-so-positive note for the entire saga in general, leaving it as a meh franchise, with its ups and downs, highs, lows, peaks, etc. But anyway, that was all from Agent 007
So in the end, we just have to settle for good old James and the villain of the film, which could have been exploited to the fullest and their problems minimized to give the saga a more solid ending, but oh well
And I think that's where all my praise ends. The rest of the movie is pretty meh and mostly bad, whether it's the characters who have nothing new to contribute, the new Bond with very little time to develop, the Spectre retcon, nonsensical things, etc.
The best part is undoubtedly the conclusion of Daniel Craig's Bond series, which showed his entire maturation process until his sacrifice to protect his nation and his family, as well as having the most solid and satisfying conclusion of all the Bond films to date
This has an interesting parallel with James, in the sense that, like him, he lost his parents, but he chose the path of revenge, unlike James, who preferred to choose the path of what is right and just
However, his happiness will not last long, as he reveals who the true final villain of the Specter organization is: Lyutsifer Safin, whose goal in life is, above all else, to poison the world's population so that they feel the same way he does
Well, this one takes a similar turn to On Her Majesty's Secret Service by showing Bond having left the agency and starting a new life as a husband and father to his new partner and her daughter, creating a dynamic that is both moving and satisfying
