He gently nods, before an eyebrow raises. That flicker in her eyes, even if it was for a second, didn't go un-noticed. He's not dumb, he can tell something isn't right.

A gentle hum escapes the man. He sighs, gazing up into the city sky with eyes that told everything. It'd be a while before he can finally find himself to be at full confidence again -- but no matter.

He only manages to bring focus to what's in front of him yet again when he snaps out of -
