1. It’s not perfect but no social media platform is
2. If influencers/celebrities truly migrated over and put more effort in than “forgot this existed lol” every 6 months their followers would… follow 😱
3. Seeing actual posts from actual people instead of bots/ads is how social media should be

I also think @tumblr.com is so so dumb for not adopting the AT protocol. Just sitting on a gold mine and too stupid to use it.

I will say I don’t miss Twitter at all, I think most of my followers were bots, the only tweets I saw were conflicts/flights/spam and the people who stayed were soulless porn accounts run by a third party.
I do wish bluesky would stop modeling its features from Twitter and start copying tumblr.

The part I find most unrelatable, I would know Russian by the second date. After we touched hands in the hotel gym - I would’ve started learning Russian. By year 8 I’d be fully fluent and have to pretend I wasn’t.
