The great Drew Struzan has left us. You may not know his name but was THE poster artist of our time. There was nobody better than him. He did many iconic movie posters and his art will live forever. This is a small smattering of the work he did.

I do love Final Girls, its nice to see it get some love here. The article was well done, I didn’t even think about how it handles the stages of grief, that was a cool call out. I showed the film to some friends recently and it went over like gangbusters, I was so glad they all got into it.

Let me tell you I went to NYComicCon and it was a whole thing. I think I aged out of this, too crowded and too much. But I went for one reason, to meet the ALIEN Queen herself, Sigourney Weaver. It was fast, but worth the cost and effort to be there

The Italian poster artists made some of the best posters for movies. It’s a shame digital art ruined those careers, what they did is unmatched by modern techniques.

It’s not easy finding an authentic #Eraserhead poster from the 70’s era so when I spotted this on the Posteritati site I had to grab it. 2017 re-release poster, one sheet size. I still miss #davidlynch everyday.
