Lies of P DLC just proves that NeoWiz is the only dev out there that understands FromSoft at a fundamental level that isn’t just “shit hard get good.” Been working through this while playing Bloodborne and there isn’t even a quality difference between the two. Just two all time games.

For the record, this is what referring to in my previous post. It’s a very helpful video in getting everything tuned for a great experience.

I beat Dark Souls 3 in 18 hours and I only missed one boss. Still the DLCs left but it’s insane to me how these games that used to feel inaccessible to the point I swore them off I’m not finishing 10+ hours less than the main objective time on HowLongToBeat.

BB > ER > Sekiro > DS3 > DS1

2 to go.

Nameless King is a boss that is mechanically boring by today’s FromSoft standards but aura frames so much that you just remember a cool dude.

Been having a terrible start to the new year, decided to start Dark Souls 3 for the first time, and I have come to realize that if you play enough of these they do indeed start to feel easy at a point.

If these Nvidia price increase rumors turn out real then my gaming PC is probably the best return on investment I’ve ever had in such a short amount of time and that fucking sucks lol

Backlogs are cool because oh I’m kinda tired of Tears of the Kingdom right now. Let me move over to *checks notes* my half complete Red Dead Redemption 2 playthrough?

Just in disbelief at this one, during Christmas no less. Wishing the best for everyone involved, this would never be easy but this week is just brutal.

Is it safe to admit that Baldur’s Gate 3 wasn’t that good now or

Also even tho I’m a E33 gameplay hater it absolutely deserved to win the awards it did. It’s lower on my top 10 for the year but it’s shocking to me how people can’t look at it objectively and understand what a crazy achievement it is, out of nowhere nonetheless.

I regret to say that early on there is a chance I was wrong about Tears of the Kingdom but it still had a chance to be mid like I remember which is why I never finished. I’ll give a shout out to the fact that Switch 2 at least makes it a joy to play in handheld and docked mode.

Keighley really thinking he cooked with that final game reveal is somehow not even top 5 most embarrassing things of the night. I once again ask the industry please get someone better to be the face of this.

Yearly post that says video games are the biggest entertainment industry in the world and somehow the best we can do for a night dedicated to the them is Geoff Keighley.

Metroid Prime (Remastered in this case) is simply one of the greatest games ever made. The isolation, the storytelling approach, the level design (basically a blueprint to what FromSoft achieved in Dark Souls 1), the score, it’s practically perfect in every conceivable way and I somehow forgot.
December 9, 2025 at 4:59 AM
Metroid Prime is one of the most unique experiences in gaming and yes Metroid Prime 4 continues that legacy. Hits like nothing else and is easily so far the highlight of the Switch 2 for me.

Tuesday therapy was good. I want to note under normal circumstance I would avoid photographing the homeless, people shouldn’t be remembered for their low moments, but he asked and of course I obliged.
