'The Big Photo Sort'. All photo negatives from our recent rescue of the Weston Point Studios. Since then 50k have already been processed and 18k are scanned (and they weren't even part of this)!

#ThrowbackThursday View of the two bridges across the Mersey following demolition of the Transporter Bridge in 1965. Foreground is the Bridgewater Canal and Waterloo Bridge. Canal then blocked off and the flight of locks down to the docks on the Manchester Ship Canal filled in (known as Top Locks)

#ThrowbackThursday Abel's boatyard, West Bank between the Transporter Bridge and the Britannia railway bridge. The Ruth Bate was the last boat to be built in the yard before it was demolished to make way for the new road bridge. Launched on 18 March 1952.
