My bday tradition is to watch Return of the Jedi and drink bubbly. My earliest memory of the movie is from my 5th bday. I'm not entirely sure why my parents thought allowing a tiny me to watch a slug Hutt get choked was alright but maybe it was the fluffy ewoks.

Last week I sent a postcard from Japan to myself and it arrived today! I think it's neat this piece of paper had the same journey as me. Sort of. I'm not stamped.

I'm at that point of being awake too long that I'm experiencing auditory hallucinations. Damn you jetlag.
