UPDATE: We're still waiting for SCOTUS to say how it will handle cases out of Alabama, Mississippi & North Dakota about whether private individuals & groups — whose lawsuits have been the main way of enforcing Voting Rights Act’s Section 2 — can keep suing. Next scheduled SCOTUS order day is Dec. 8
