Another "must listen" episode! Agree w Davout as number 2. Significant differences at tactical, operational & strategic levels, but this episode discusses this really well.
My honourable mention is Danish Prince Christian August of Augustenburg defeating the Swedish Army in 1808-09.

Interesting deep precision strike report by IISS

The Danish Prime Minister declared 17 September Denmark would acquire long range strike capability. The most likely candidates are currently frigate-based TLAM and JSM for F-35.

Deep Precision Strike: Europe’s Quest for Long-range Missile Capabilities
Confronted by Moscow’s aggression, several NATO states are pursuing very long-range land-attack weapons, including through joint development programmes. However, they face competing imperatives along with unresolved questions about future deterrence and the war-fighting roles of these systems.

Very interesting talk! It is a bit of "pears & apples" as it mixes capability at strategic, operational & tactical levels as e.g. Napoleon vs Schwartzenberg vs Wellington in 1813-1815, or excellent corps commanders, who would fail at Army (multi-corps) level command like Ney

GlobalEye for 🇩🇰 is still being considered according to an interview with Saab CEO on 24 October:

“We have interest from NATO, from Germany and from Denmark, and a number of other countries are looking into our GlobalEye system,”
H/t @corporalfrisk.com

www.flightglobal.com/defence/denm...
The 🇸🇪Swedish government has requested the Parliament for approval of the sale of up to 4 GlobalEye to 🇩🇰Denmark. It is likely the result of a combination of the existing Danish NATO capability target for JISR & signal intelligence capability and demand for surveillance in the North Atlantic.

1: ikke 🇩🇰 lovgivning - kun politik siden 1957 der kan ændres

2: kun i fredstid. Man øvede brug af atomvåben i krigstid med våben placeret i 🇩🇪

Lets focus on how these can be financed and not least how to stop gap immediately with fighter planes until the 100-150 Gripen E becomes available.

Thank you, Sweden! 🇸🇪🇺🇦

Forceit sea mines as I guessed in March: According to the Finnish Ministry of Defence a 🇫🇮Finnish-led joint 🇫🇮🇩🇰🇳🇴🇩🇪🇱🇹procurement of the Forceit Blocker Influence Sea Mine System is being planned as part of the Naval Mines Cooperation (NMC).
Denmark today announced it is acquiring “several hundred sea mines” to protect and block 🇩🇰Danish waters and straits. It is about partly rebuilding the Cold War capacity, where the navy had thousands of sea mines. No name has been revealed but a likely candidate is 🇫🇮 Forceit.
