Personally seeing that post on Reddit/X about the Trails Beyond the Horizon sequel and looks at the references-interview articles.
Honestly I wish I can fully answer that but… I won’t be surprised by it if the script becomes more ambitious if they wanted to used it as a end and bridge for next arc.

Since the Trails series have finally caught up officially in the West.
Now I just wait till the first domino effect happens later on and yeah… it is long time coming for Falcom for what they are going to do next.

I wonder when folks will realize Falcom aren't *just* padding their release calendar with remakes, and are instead using them to give themselves the time they need to transition and evolve into a truly WW-focused company?

For Falcom to announce this new title for 2026, it will make sense for them to announce on the 45th Anni. of the company founding (March 9th).
Plus I will be attending Taipei Game Show 2026 so who knows. But it will be a safe bet they may show 2nd footage there and more info from Kondo.
