Stage: Hold the apple high for the back row to see.
Film: Hold the apple close, intimately and honestly.
Voice Acting: 'Director: "You're describing an apple. Nope bigger than that. Smaller than that. Perfect."'

Say it with me. An actor is an actor is an actor. If you can act on stage, you can act on film, you can act in a booth. The skills are transferable. I know because I do all three.
