I will miss this view from one of the skylights.

No frost this morning. Milder and damper. First cup of tea has been drunk. I'm still under the covers here right now as it's still the warmest place to be.

I moved over to Bluesky ( I was in the first million doncha know) to escape the rancid X ( yes, I do still keep one foot over there) but lately I can't help but feel this place is slip-sliding into the same sludgy abyss. Please , I hope not.

Find beauty where you can.

It's pretty chilly and crisp underfoot here. Have a look at these gorgeous clouds though.
Have a good Wednesday everyone; stay warm.

Starting the week with blue skies, chilly air and a yellow wind warning.

A plane flies overhead and the dog gently snores.

We have allowed superstition to become a word loaded with negative judgements. Is someone who believes in the ghosts of felled trees, the persistence of Wood Sprites and their revenges against the axe superstitious? Yes, but this should not be assumed as a bad thing. – Dr. M. Benn #FolkloreSunday

I became very, Very stressed about the grass this week. Of course, it wasn't really the grass.... it was everything.
We do that.

I don't personally wish to be either a leader or a follower just a comfortable, somewhat detached observer watching from a safe sideline, who's not really over stressed or involved, yet happy to learn and pick up on any useful tips. Can this be achieved.

New goal.
(I don't really like goals.)

Dog has been serviced and I'm now back in bed with a very early ( for me) cup of tea. It's cold out there.
Stay warm.

I've had a full week, physically and mentally. Today I'll be chillin'.

Not sure how yet. Probably TV. Jigsaw, lots of tea and something nice for dinner.

Very early here. Very dark.
I've just sent the dog back to bed, he's getting up earlier and earlier.

No foodies until 6 at the very soonest. I think he's sulking.

Anyway, if you're reading this have a Super Saturday and a good weekend overall.

The little amount of snow that fell earlier has disappeared already. Blue skies now.

Oooh, it's snowing in Brittany.

Not a blizzard but definitely snow. 😱🤣

Grass has not been cut.
I've just driven through a sleet shower.
November 19, 2025 at 3:43 PM
Might try cutting some grass tomorrow. It's getting really high.

Anyway, goodnight.

Took the dog for an early walk in the garden in my dressing gown as usual.
Yup. It's definitely chilly out there.

Two more boxes packed. Pizza scoffed.

Saw the doctor for a repeat prescription and today's random doctor ( we sit and wait in turn in a waiting room) looked like a film star but I can't think of his name.

My lovely, crepuscular friend, the tawny owl is in fine fettle tonight.

Goodnight everyone, wherever you are.

Forgotten sounds are a real thing; like the 4am milk float, the brash 'bring, bring' of the land-line phone( I loved that) ....but who also remembers the 'boom, boom' of Concorde going supersonic at around 9pm each evening in the west country?

Our whole house used to shake.
