Interesting thread! I was thinking about the last-minute, unexpected nature of the finale concerts. Starting with "we will make it work" rather than "how can it possibly work?" could invite disaster😂but also makes space for a variety of things to qualify as "successful outcome."

to me, this moment is peak "hyung will do it". seokjin drags taehyung out because he's emotional and crying after singing on such a big stage again after so long. he teases tae with a joke about enlistment that he knows will piss tae off slightly enough that he snaps out of his tears a little.

Since a couple people asked me about it - polyc talked about the work he does with Jungkook on his tattoos on an Instagram story a while back, about how it was to help JK feel comfy wearing short sleeves that showed his tattoos. I found the screenshot of the post so I wanted to share.

When we first met, he felt very self-conscious about his tattoos and was even too embarrassed to wear short sleeves during the summer. So, our shared goal became what we called the "Short-Sleeve in Summer Project."
Over time, he had gotten several tattoos on impulse. I told him: "You're now in a position of great influence. I hope you'll be more thoughtful about future tattoos, as many young people look up to you and may follow your choices."
Reviving his previous tattoos was far from easy. The actual damage was much more severe than what appeared in photos, and there were significant limitations in terms of what subjects could be used for the cover-up. It was a complex process—maintaining meaningful design while covering the old tattoos—and the pressure even led me to experience stress-related hair loss.
So I made a suggestion: "Your current black-and-grey sleeve is something we see quite often. Why not try something more vibrant and unique—something that truly fits your career as JK? It might not be everyone's taste, but you're not like everyone else." He accepted my suggestion.
Some people may assume I'm using the fact that I tattooed JK as a marketing tool or simply envy the opportunity. But in truth, I felt a tremendous sense of pressure and responsibility to do my absolute best.
We completed about 70% of the work before he enlisted, and we're still continuing the process as his busy schedule allows.
Throughout this journey, I kept imagining him on stage with the tattoos I created, always thinking of what would suit him best. And now, he's finally able to wear short sleeves with confidence—that makes me truly happy.
This style may not be to everyone's taste, but I believe the result is something much more unique than before—and that it turned out well in the end.

I agree it could be a metal sensitivity, the symptoms look like infection. Even surgical steel is sometimes too much nickel. Titanium will usually do the trick.
