Tree Pipit at Steps Hill today. Was hoping for a flyover bird among the large Meadow Pipit movement. Love when a plan comes together and as a bonus, it was my first grounded one in Bucks!
Leach's Storm Petrel, my most wanted bird in the UK! Got to see a few today through the Wirral. Saw the wind forces last last week and took the day off work. An extremely friendly and helpful bunch of birders in that area!

Found a lifer orchid species, Broad-leaved Helleborine, at Sandhouse Lane NR, near Milton Keynes. Also, Farinose Cartilage, Oakmoss and Netted Shield lichens all on small segment of twig. Many Willow Emeralds and a Notch-wing Button moth. @ukorchids.bsky.social @britishlichensociety.org.uk

Orcas on Uig-Lochmaddy ferry last night. Dream of mine to see them in UK waters, didn't think I'd find them! Also, 1 Great Skua, 2 Arctic Skua and 15 Manx Shearwater.
