Unless the DNC is very careful this will happen again in 28. I called 24 elections back in 21 or 22, Biden would drop out and Harris would come up short because of the short time. To avoid this the DNC needs to have a strong policy it takes to the voters regardless who the candidate is.

The real winner here is China as they now realize farmers are producing crops that have limited domestic markets in the US so they can drive down the market price. Diversification of crops for local/ reginal markets to survive the upheaval or lose your farm like many did in Reagan's 80s.

The DNC is slowly falling into the trap staring at a 2026 midterm disappointment. While they are reacting to the Trump admin they are not laying a solid plan/platform for the American people. Huge chucks of voters feel sidelined by the Left/Right wing politics, who grabs them wins in 26 and 28.
