Happy 30th Anniversary to the North American release of Vectorman on the SEGA Genesis!

This game is super hard and I never got very far in it, but it has amazing graphics for the Genesis that absolutely blew me away back in 1995.

I got to meet Charles Martinet again, the voice of Mario, Luigi, Wario, etc. from 1996 to 2023! This guy is so genuine and always a pleasure to talk to.

I got to meet the legendary game music composer Grant Kirkhope! Banjo-Kazooie is one of my favorite video games of all time and I absolutely love its soundtrack, so meeting him was really cool! We chatted a lot and he was a super friendly guy.

I’m going to be at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo all weekend, and I’ll be wearing my animated LED hat and backpack there again. I’m so excited for this! #PRGE is always my favorite expo of the year.

I know Nintendo seems less invested in making mobile games now, but they should really make a WarioWare mobile game. It just seems perfect for playing in short bursts on your phone.

I’m not even all that in to mobile games myself, but I feel like it would work so well.

Thoughts on Sonic 3D Blast?

I have a lot of memories with it and my feelings are very mixed, so even after nearly 30 years I’m still not sure if I like this game or not.

All of the recent Xbox news is quite sad to see. I already own the console and I never had Game Pass to begin with, so none of this affects me directly, but they’re really setting themselves up for failure. I genuinely want Xbox to succeed, because competition is good for gaming.
