I want to start doing some pen and ink sketches, and wanted to have some Payne's Grey watercolor on standby. But that sent me down a Payne's Grey rabbit hole. No two are the same, apparently.

Making a food tray/cloche for my comic. I usually freehand this thing, but since I’ve used it a lot, I decided to make my own 3D prop using random items in DAZ Studio. After that, I export as an OBJ and import into CSP.

I have some blue LED lights along the ceiling near my desk, and I’ve noticed that they’re behaving like Blacklights. This green acrylic gel pen really pops.

Teal is my favorite color, but after tonight… I was shaking up a bottle that had been sitting on a shelf for months, and the lid popped off, drenching me and the carpet in the richest teal I have ever seen.

I plan to work with more traditional art this year, and was gifted these marker organizers for Christmas. (Though I would need 5 more of them to hold my other markers.) I also found a vintage Rotring drafting board at Goodwill for $5. It’s a cheap drawing surface I won’t feel bad for wrecking. ;D
