⚠️🫄 Iron supplements during pregnancy may not be advisable for everyone.

A recent study from Sinai Health’s Dr. Isabella Caniggia #LTRI found that having too much iron can lead to preeclampsia, a serious pregnancy complication in those at risk.

A final report on a trial by @pmresearch-uhn.bsky.social investigates the drug rucaparib for the treatment of relapsed #OvarianCancer. Rucaparib improved progression-free survival in comparison to standard-of-care chemotherapy but further research is needed.
