It's a bit frustrating because yeah, grinding out 100 battles to get the 80 damage fireball and the 60 damage AoE, for the mage, is the difference between 1-2 shotting all random encounters and getting ground down by the attrition

The remake cut it in half and I wouldn't be shocked if the new remake cuts it down even further from what we've seen. You don't exactly need every job on people and in fact it's better to specialize but there are a LOT of jobs you have to master to get the adv jobs
