the pragmata demo runs well enough on my pc that couldn't run the wilds benchmark so maybe just being open world makes the re engine poop its pants on my pc
also i really enjoyed the demo! super looking forward to the full game!

hearing that monster hunter wilds is somehow running worse makes me concerned for onimusha, pragmata, and re9 next year

another night of wondering what happened to etsu tamari
this is almost all based on metal gear rising, but i feel like he “got” the series in a way i vibed with and didn’t seem to have the same weaknesses as kojima, and i wish he got to head another game, be it metal gear or something else

instead of mgs3 they should have remade the msx games so we could have 4KHD versions of Coward Duck, using chocolate rations to soak up acid, poison Zanzibarland hamsters, hatching an owl to go hoot so the guards know it's night, and burning Big Boss alive by strapping a lighter to an aerosol can

i played the demo for the new daemon x machina. it seems alright, but my main takeaway is that because you can disable your mecha armor, i could potentially just play the game in a tube top and yoga pants

anyway what prompted this was seeing someone getting into dq11 because of smash, which began as a pleasant feeling followed by the cold realization that it's been 8 years since the original release of dq11 bsky.app/profile/hear...
it's kinda nice seeing someone get into a series thanks to smash bros because it feels like that doesn't actually happen much despite being an intention of those games
