In the midst of a chaotic day, I found solace in the arrival of 2 new senior residents rescued from a South Florida shelter where they were slated for euthanasia. They are now safe and embracing their new life in our sanctuary. Please welcome Susi and Little Bear😻

How can I find a way to thrive without financial supporters? We are in a challenging time, yet I believe we can overcome. I’m having to allocate my last few dollars for food and litter. It’s a daunting task to run a sanctuary without funding. I’m staying positive, but scared for our future😞

Another glorious morning from Jax😻.

He is an FIV kitty boy that was rescued earlier this year and is now thriving. Although he decided he wanted to continue living outdoors as he broke out of my enclosure and escaped, he remains safe on our property and is nourished twice a day.

Snickers is one of my most feisty rescues, but lately likes to lay on my hip; it’s like having a living heating pad for my sciatica pain. Problem is that I can’t move and have to wait for her to jump off or she will strike me if I try to get her off. She is just a silly kitty cat🤪
