Aye.. I do wonder how many have actually made any difference.

Any ive signed have always had the same response.

But yeah.. I think its a distraction method to make people feel like they are making a difference.

Contacting MPs is a much better idea (have done so myself)

I was reminded of this commission I got from @blockman3.bsky.social quite a while back, and figured I'd upload here, too.

Flick really loves bugs, as you know, and a certain little orange one seems to be especially drawn to his feet. It's quite possibly one of the easiest bugs he's caught~ >///>

I sometimes feel like the gov petitions site is there to make people feel like they're doing something.

Instead of actively protesting or emailing MPs etc etc, "hey look sign this petition so we can respond with No, but you'll feel like you tried."

I can't really put it into words. Just feels off
