Another friend fell victim for this. They might word it differently but DO NOT TRUST YOUR FRIENDS WHEN THEY SEND SOMETHING LIKE THIS. Try to figure out if it's truly them for example asking about something that's not common info but they should know. Stay safe!

It's honestly kind of hilarious in hind sight how clearly my mental exhaustion has been the reason why I fell ill. 😅

I wish I'll learn from this and will listen to my needs a bit more carefully in the future... 😣

But apparently my body was thinking otherwise.

I am very rarely sick. Even if someone is slightly sick near me my body can usually handle it and I usually don't catch the same sickness.

But not this time. This time I did get sick. 🤧 Like my body was screaming to me "just stop".

I thought to myself "okay, just two more weeks that are just a bit more socially hectic, and then I can rest".

I thought that I could just hang on a little longer and agree to a couple more social gatherings. I kept thinking; "I CAN wait a little longer. I SHOULD be able to handle this."

I have been mentally - especially socially - exhausted for a while now, but despite that I've just ignored it and kept agreeing on social gatherings and seeing people.
