U.S. Senator for NM. Husband, dad, hunter. Former Engineer/Current energy nerd. Respects hard work, NM values, & anyone w/a freezer full of wild game.
I fought hard for these incentives. So remember, small acts of resistance are deeply meaningful. If you want to electrify your home, act now before these credits go away. Your health, your wallet, and New Mexico’s economy will thank you.

Mr. Secretary, you seem confused. Mark Kelly was defending the Constitution. That’s leadership and you should try it.

This is an insurrection…

Trump and Republicans have thrown millions of Americans off their health care and laid off thousands of federal workers. All while costs skyrocket and working families struggle to put food on the table. I’ll keep fighting to lower costs and protect New Mexico's federal workers.

Through Hunters Helping the Hungry, hunters can donate wild game meat to neighbors in need. I commend NMDGF, Roadrunner, Food Depot, Honest Processing, and Padilla’s Meat Cutting and Processing for thinking outside the box and finding a way to help.

Earlier this week I met with IBEW Local Union 611 leaders to discuss permitting reform to open new clean energy projects that create good-paying union jobs.

I'm grateful for their partnership and will continue fighting for policies that support New Mexico’s workforce.

Chaco Canyon is one of the most important living cultural landscapes on the planet and we have long called for its permanent protection. It's not about the past–it’s about the generations to come. I’ll continue to fight for it because it is a place worth protecting.

This isn’t going to go away. It’s not about party politics, it’s about affordability. People should be able to afford their health care.

This is a test of whether Congress works for hardworking Americans or for DC insiders.
This is a test.

Earlier this morning, President Trump threatened me and a group of service and veteran Members of Congress with arrest, trial, and death by hanging.

Here’s my response:

We want to speak directly to members of the Military and the Intelligence Community.

The American people need you to stand up for our laws and our Constitution.

Don’t give up the ship.

Public lands belong to all of us and that means we deserve a chance to provide input on how they're managed.

For decades, Republicans have been slow walking progress on clean energy. That isn’t free. Home insurance premiums are through the roof because of their inaction.

Instead of investigating child exploitation cases and stopping human trafficking, Trump is pulling federal agents to focus on deporting farm workers and grandmothers. It’s making us less safe.

At the 11th hour, an Easter egg was tucked into the government funding bill that virtually guarantees that eight senators will get millions in taxpayer dollars. I think that’s outrageous.

The revenue generated by public lands is comparable to hosting 8 Super Bowls per month. They’re more than just places to recreate–they boost our national and local economies and support almost a million jobs. Cutting resources hurts more than recreationists, it hurts communities.

While Democrats were fighting to make health care more affordable, Senate Republicans were focused on taxpayer-funded windfalls for themselves. Negotiating a $500,000 payday for yourself while refusing to help everyday Americans is wrong and my bill reverses it.

Trump says…“vote to release the Epstein files.” Funny thing is…he could just release the Epstein files. He has that authority. Hasn’t used it. Hmmmmm…?

Folks don’t need an “affordability message.” They need things to actually be affordable!

Don't believe their lies — this is about making it more difficult for hardworking people to feed their families. Once again: the cruelty is the point.

Firing and forcing out our public lands stewards has real world consequences that none of us want.

What a load of crap. In the history of US job reports, there have only been three reports delayed by shutdowns. NEVER has one been completely skipped. Don't buy their spin. Trump is killing jobs and trying to cover it up.

Our National Parks are our “crown jewels.” Just one expert was plugging abandoned mines that leak methane and oil into these lands — until this administration let him go.

Their reckless cuts endanger Americans and create a new public health crisis.
