Aw no, that's not a fun time 😅 Did any emails during that down-time eventually come through?

I was surprised to see the handful of test emails I sent slowly started to pop up once I connected it again. Thought stuff would be lost for sure.

I hope so 🤞 last I read I think only ≈22% of all e-waste is recycled? Not sure how these devices would fall into that.

DNS woes on a weekend 😭

Did I kill my email in the process? Yes.

Was I not able to actually connect to the domain on ONLY my machine? Also yes.

But it's finally fixed (I hope) and now I have a cool Coolify setup on Hetzner! I was even able to successfully build/serve an 11ty test site 🥳

Very true! Though I even make that difficult for myself because I'll sometimes do a chain post here (love that ➕ feature) and then it can end up larger than the 500 chars, but only by a bit. 🤏
