I need to keep playing Hades 2 to see if there are more interactions about Scylla's new song, (I've only seen two so far), but her being canonically sapphic was not in my bingo card at all and I keep thinking about it, in a good way

I also have the problem that I like to think "too big" and my own ideas end up being a lot for me, and it backfires, because I lack self control I guess

I LOOOOVE the idea of fanfiction but I haven't found a way to "control" my ADHD when it comes to focus on writing something

I started thinking about the most obvious Modern AU where Scylla is an extrovert, wild(?) rock singer and performs in clubs on the weekends and Chary is like ballet/dancer rich girl who is disciplined/"strict"

But then I unconsciously thought "what if I turn it into a fanfic", and felt like this

I got nothing against fanfiction, it's just that

1- This idea lacks a plot
2- I DON'T trust my adhd at all
3- I'm not precisely a fanfiction writer or writer overall. I did a LOT of roleplay, but they are both different writing experiences imo, so yeah

Anyways I know about this because I remember watching this show when I was hyper-young, and years later, I searched for it out of curiosity etc etc

and because I (somehow) ship them, I remember this particular episode lol

Yuri was scary in 2002

But after paying attention, this episode mixes the Chary and Scylla myth, with the Glaucus, Scylla and Circe myth

In which Glaucus was in love with Scylla, but Circe loved him, so she cursed Scylla for it. TL;DR

Fortunatelly, unlike Glaucus, Chary doesn't harass Scylla here

When I think about me randomly shipping Scylla and Charybdis, I remember I'm not the first one to do it

☝️🤓 The "Mission Odyssey" TV series made them a couple too, and Circe turned both into monsters because Chary wasn't in love with her

(Chary got genderswapped into a man for "mysterious reasons")

Sometimes I feel shy to share Chary stuff or her ship with Scylla because it feels like, a "me" thing, in the sense that only I think about this lol

but I have so many ideas, and I have so much fun while doing it, that I simply decide to just vibe and roll with it
