This is also why Alastor not being a full anthro deer is kind of the point. Thats why his shoes are hooves, and he has vaguely catgirl-deer ears. He's not a deer, he was a man mistaken for a deer.
It was such a cool moment for us Alastor theorists who were like Alastor's antlers look more like branches then actual deer antlers, only for S2 to go "Thats cause they aaaree!!!"

I think one of the most compelling things about Alastor is he's such an an ACTIVE character. He doesn't stay put and wait for the plot to come to him. And if he's put in a situation where he's forced to react he turns the tables until others are dancing to his tune. #hazbinhotel
