In terms of opportunities presented, most of Richa's dismissals - catches & stumpings amazingly - have been taken in NZ; whereas in India & Sri Lanka she has relatively few.
Yes, I agree that might be part of it. In my mind, Richa is skillful enough & pretty competent without too many clangers. Maybe another factor is the number of different ODI bowlers IND-W have used so, apart from Deepti, Richa hasn't had the opportunity to build bowler-keeper partnerships?
This is curious: women's world cup wicketkeeper ODI performances over last 3 years - what's up with Richa &/or the IND-W bowlers in terms of behind the wicket dismissals? #CricketSky

😉After yesterday's ENG-W v BAN-W World Cup cricket game, the ICC has issued a guidance that communication of 3rd umpire decisions is hereafter strictly limited to only 1 of the following 3 options: 1. Yes indeed 2. Yeah, nah 3. No way. #CricketSky
With her 4th catch in the AUS-W v NZ-W game, Suzie Bates broke the record for the number of catches taken in a Women's World Cup ODI - just 1 day after Vishni Gunurate had equaled the old 3-catch record of Gill Smith & Anne Gordon. Another fielding record for super Suzie #CricketSky
When Vishni Gunurate took this fabulous catch, she equalled the long-standing Women's World Cup fielding record of 3 catches in a match - now co-held by her, Gill Smith & Anne Gordon #CricketSky www.icc-cricket.com/tournaments/...
Here's what I'm looking forward to most, cricket-wise, in the immediate future: 1. The first game of the 2025 WODI World Cup 2. Fewer stories on Harmanpreet ordaining/predicting the future 3. Fewer stories about handshakes or lack thereof #CricketSky
Sadly, I stopped peer reviewing a while ago for this reason. My audit of 54 reviews I had conducted for 4 different journals revealed that, of the 21 where I recommended rejection & the editor agreed, 16 were quickly published - largely unchanged - in a lesser journal. Journal hopping/shopping.😞
