Indefinite “integral”, and the use of the integral sign without bounds to represent it, has my vote for the worst terminology (pedagogically) in mathematics.

It confuses the geometric definition of integral and obscures the application of the fundamental theorem of calculus for students.

A lot of people are well-rehearsed in saying “data are” and “these data” but fail at verb conjugation (ex: “the data says”)

Data is a mass noun btw
