It is, given that I’m trying to retract myself to sight read on my piano, how much my music theory is bone deep such that when a piece does something odd with the key is usually where I stop and go “what?”

One of the ways I find that my brain is dealing with the never ending stress of our current lives is diving back to my early life and plotting what would have happened if I made different choices. Or it's looking into other timelines that aren't as suck, I suppose :-p

Dear colleague at another institution: It is not my fault that you have: A) not invoiced for what we owe you or B) Spent more than our contract says you could. While I suspect that we will, indeed, be providing you with more funding, you can shove it up your ass if you're going to demand it.
