I could never understand why I'd spend money to buy essentially a digital image that could be duplicated. Couldn't see the utility in that, without a real world offline piece of art tied to it. I still think blockchain is a fantastic innovation but unfortunately a lot of its application just suck.

The good thing is that you have an idea about the economics of selling art ref. You can gage what would make it worthwhile for you and extrapolate from there. You can pilot the idea by using a part of your current site for "independent" contributors. Material refs, props, it could really work.
