(Described as "Sleeping in Jayce's huge-ass horsesized bed.")

First with Viktor snuggling Jayce's stomach between his front legs. Jayce is drooling a little and has his pillow between his arm and head. Viktor has his pillow smushed against Jayce. His toes are curled together against Jayce's hoof.

Second with Viktor at Jayce's side, braced against one horse leg. They're both completely naked. Jayce's hand is in Viktor's hair, and Viktor's hand is on Jayce's shoulder.

Third with Viktor atop Jayce's chest. It's not well visible but he's absolutely fully on Jayce to steal his warmth. Jayce holds his arm and snores loudly. Viktor's used to sleeping in noise so he doesn't react.

Fourth with Jayce completely smothering Viktor under his body. His horse body is laying down on his stomach. Viktor has one arm tightly around his neck.

A morning like any other.

[Viktor sits at the side of the bed, pulling on his shirt. Jayce lays on the floor with his arms crossed over Viktor's legs. Their noses are touching.]
V: I'm trying to dress and Someone is distracting me.
J: Who'd ever do that?

[Jayce presses a kiss onto Viktor's forehead as he's brushing his hair. Viktor touches the arm holding his head up.]
V: Can I do your tail today?
[The brush in his hand has a "brush lol" note by it.]

[Viktor sits to braid Jayce's tail. The base of the tail is wiggling.]
V: Jayce, stop wagging (your tail) so much.
Jayce is smiling brightly, pulling his collar right. He's arrowed to by "So happy he could leap around like a foal."

Post-timeskip.

[Viktor's just woken up in a hospital bed with a cannula kn. He's looking blearily at Jayce, who is sleeping by his bed, his hair and tail undone and messy, shirt extra wrinkled. Viktor's breathing is wheezing throughout the page.]
V: ...
Jayce..

[Jayce startles awake immediately. Viktor crawls to the side of his bed to put his hand onto Jayce's back. He's pulled his cannula off.]
J: !!
Viktor!
You're–
Wait, you shouldn't move yet...

[Viktor avoids eye contact, expression neutral. Both his arms shake trying to hold his weight.]
V: I want...

[Viktor finally takes eye contact. His expression brraks, eyes glistening with tears.]
V: I want to go home
Together
Jayce...

[Jayce's heart is breaking apart seeing him like that.]

[Jayce helps Viktor onto his back and into a desperately tight hug. They're clinging onto each other.]
J: Okay–
Okay.
Let's go home.
You'll be okay.
You'll be okay, V.

Viktor is snug as a bug, fully wrapped into a blanket coccoon and Jayce's arms. Jayce squeezes him in a hug, whole body curled to protect and hold Viktor.

They're for once at the same level. Viktor sleeps while Jayce watches him.

They're spooning, Viktor's back to Jayce's stomach. Viktor is tiny against him, his socked toes peeking out from between Jayce's hind legs. Jayce's legs are trying to curl protectively around Viktor again. Viktor's left and Jayce's right hand are crossing fingers.

There's a well-noted "size consistency? Idk her" at the side because Jayce's lower half feels too small on the bottom one, and often Viktor gets too tiny.
