Sometimes I wish I were better at slowing down. It is hard for me to stop. I want to take my time. When playing games lately I push myself not to optimize, or condense things into a list of objectives, but to be in the world and enjoy the experience.

I feel like I time traveled this year. It started with an intensely stressful, challenging, and painful event. Much of the year felt unprocessable and zipped by, like I needed to engage autopilot while my subconscious dealt with the experience. Now the year is ending, I feel control is returning.

Certain periods of my past, I didn't recognize how swiftly/drastically my internal experience could change. Those who've stuck around for a long time to whatever degree of connection, thanks for being here, especially if you've interacted with me during any odd periods/pre self recognition.

I miss my Kiki... I wish I could have communicated to her I was going away. I wish I could adopt a cat to live with me now, but my finances and living are too unstable, it would be irresponsible...
