It is common to think that the only 'rare' books in the Heythrop Library collection are pre-1800 or early print books. While this is partially true, some books are 'rare' because of their uniqueness and what they can teach us about scholars' research. I recently encountered an interesting book from 1911 while cataloguing a group of donations, that was unlike any I'd seen before.
