On Monday, Oct. 13, 2025, Halifax Transit buses and the Alderney Ferry will be operating on holiday schedules. Woodside Ferry will not be operating.

Woodside Ferry service is running on a 30 min schedule until further notice, due to maintenance. Ferries will depart Woodside at xx:07 & xx:37. Ferries will depart Halifax at xx:22 & xx:52. Alderney Ferry service is not impacted at this time. Shuttles will be provided.

Halifax Transit buses and the Alderney Ferry will be operating on holiday schedules on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025. There will be no Woodside Ferry service.

All buses will pull over at 2:15 p.m. for a moment of silence.

Woodside Ferry service is running on a 30 min schedule until further notice, due to a maintenance issue. Ferries will depart Woodside at 15:37 & 16:07. Ferries will depart Water Street Terminal at 15:22 & 15:52. Alderney Ferry service is not impacted at this time. A shuttle will be provided.

Stop Barrington St Before Duke St (6106) will be closed on Saturday, Sept. 20 and Sunday, Sept. 21. Routes 1, 7B, and 10A/B/C are directed to Barrington St After Duke St Bay 1 (6087). Route 9A/B is directed to Barrington St Before Cogswell St Bay 2 (2348).

From Friday, Sept. 19, at 7 p.m. to Monday, Sept. 22, at 5 a.m., Bridge Terminal bus bays 9 to 16 will be closed, and all buses will service bays 1 to 8. The weekend construction will result in detours for Halifax Transit buses.

During this time, Routes 10B/C and 87 will not service Stop Victoria Rd After Nantucket Ave (8429) or Stop Thistle St After Victoria Rd (8389). Passengers are directed to the designated bus bays at Bridge Terminal for these routes.
