Deep down, in my heart of hearts, it was always about being on the right side, and unfortunately that tended to pit me against the zeitgeist, because I always felt the zeitgeist (such as it was) was deeply flawed and ignorant

(For the record, I have an “education” from inside the system, but growing up my absolute best teachers and educators were my parents, my books, etc., ALL outside the system, not school, sixth form/college, OR university)

Because oligarchy and dictatorship needs an ignorant, uneducated society to fail. Democracy can only work through an educated population…*100%* of the population

What the system calls “education” is actually TRAINING, training is not education, education is LEARNING, there’s a difference, and democracy is meaningless in a society where both inside (up to and beyond university level) and outside (in general life) the majority are uneducated and ignorant

Or is this basically like Command & Conquer: Red Alert where WW2 happened between the West (America, France, Britain, Germany, Italy, etc.) and the Eastern Bloc (Soviet Union, etc.), except this time without Einstein removing H!tl*r from history?! Because it f***ing feels that way, it really does!!!

Seriously, is this like the version of Earth where WW2 didn’t happen, because that’s what it feels I’ve ended up in, and NOT in a good way, either!!!
