Good morning Jesus. Your Way isn’t us against them. You didn’t come to condemn the world but to save it. Don’t let me get caught up in the mudslinging and name calling we call being right. Righteousness isn’t pointing out how wrong “they” are. Righteousness is Your life in me!✌🏼

Good night Jesus. Long day, late night and still didn’t get everything on my list done. I clearly remember the past when that would have frustrated and worried me. But now the main goal is “in earth as it is in heaven.” Eternity has no hurry or worry. Thank You for that truth.✌🏼

Good morning Jesus. Paul wrote to Timothy that the goal of his instruction, his teaching, is simply love. Not being powerful, profound, prophetic or right. Just love. Help that be my only goal today. Get me out of the way so Your love can shine in my every word and action.✌🏼

Good night Jesus. Tomorrow I get to speak to dozens of men about disciple-making. So thankful for this opportunity. As I prepare on a late night after a full day, I’m glad I don’t have to depend on me. You said the Holy Spirit would give us the words. Resting on that promise!✌🏼

Good morning Jesus. I don’t have to fix anyone. There’s no need to “correct” the words of random strangers or internet acquaintances. No one was ever argued into the Kingdom. I can’t turn the dark off by complaining about it. Help me turn Your light on shining love–not outrage.✌🏼

Good night Jesus. I’m so thankful that I don’t get what I deserve. Your grace is amazing. How can I receive that grace for free and then belittle tragedy because “they got what they deserved?” Blessed are the merciful. If I don’t show mercy it simply means I haven’t received it.✌🏼
