Hubs unfortunately has to work today and I feel like garbage. Today’s survival strategy is placing a Kroger order and letting the kids play Switch Sports in the living room for activity. Not my finest parenting day.

I have kept down THREE shakes! That’s 1500+ calories, the most I’ve had in one day in MONTHS.
Stepmom was alarmed by how thin I am when she saw me yesterday. Hell, I’m alarmed. I have no energy and can’t eat. Hubs found Boost “very high calorie” shakes on Amazon and they’re coming very early tomorrow morning, 530 calories each. I’m going to try to drink 3 tomorrow.

Yup. I use the thick Cerave cream with Aquaphor or some other similar healing balm/ointment on myself and the kids during the colder months. I’m loving First Aid Beauty’s Ultra Repair Barrier Rescue Balm on my face since I use tretinoin nightly, but it’s pricey.
This and multi-gen homes. My bio dad and step mom are in Chicago so it’s not possible for us now but we want to make a multi-generational home appealing to our kiddos when they are grown to help ease their burden. Hubs family in Egypt has a multigenerational home with 4-5 apartment. Very common.
Young folks may think im crazy for putting this out there. But you may need to consider share house options. It's a concept that started in Japan. Where several working adults would put down and split the costs of a shared home. It gives added equity. And eases the burden of payments.
