and at that point I continue spamming them with the same question whenever they reply and then block/mark the email as spam lmao. They never have an actual response to that question because its probably a bot auto replying and using a list of gathered emails to see who reaches out.

These aren't real emails but if you want to double check just send "What about my [art station, portfolio, ect] did you like specifically?" a real person will send a link or reply with a project, a fake one will just continue with the pre made script saying "glad your interested"

I've unfortunately seen a few tiktok's of people falling for these but in-case anyone didn't know there is this really old #scam people send to artists where someone sends you an email asking about either a portrait or a wedding invitation saying they got your info off of art station.

I love art so much I had no idea what the weird fuzzy plant that freaks me out when I visit my local river is, but because I'm drawing a freshwater underwater thing and needed aquatic plant reference I now know it's called hornwort,,,
