We went to a trendy Thai restaurant yesterday. Order off a QR code, barely interact with staff, long wait to be seated despite a reservation, no TP in the toilet. Payment options start with a 25% tip. Food was great but HELL NO.

Today's withdrawal symptoms so far are brain zaps, stomach cramps and lots of pins and needles in my arms. Also random tears. I'd like to leave my brain in a jar for a week and come back when it is done with the Effexor withdrawal.

It's exhausting how the ADHD brain is all or nothing for tasks. I never know which version I'm going to get on any given day or how my attention will be channelled. I'm so tired from it

I've long struggled with imposter syndrome. I've now encountered an actual imposter through my professional experience and oh boy I had nothing to worry about.

I took a nap today after my flu shot. My dog definitely ran up to me, licked my ear and ran away. I guess we are discovering his sense of humor.

We got fewer than 20 trick or treaters tonight, including a middle aged Chinese woman walking her dog.

I completely dropped the ADHD masking this week at work while handling a crisis and it can be downright terrifying for those people who are used to the masked version of me.

30 years ago today, I remember going with my parents and grandparents to vote in the referendum. Our car was ready to go that night with our important things. If things went differently, that night we were running away to stay Canadian. I remember it so clearly.
