HOT TAKE: Sometimes, I feel like the people saying this mean why isn't anyone with lots of power covering my game. When smaller folks ARE covering indie games and you're not uplifting them. You just want others to lift you up without giving back to the community.

2. Doing the job means you get death threats and harassment

digimon is friendlier/simpler, but encourages investment + experimentation - can spend hours evolving one ‘mon back and forth just to see what options are, and the whole time it gets stronger

I mostly enjoyed my time with Digimon Story: Time Stranger. A game that has an emotional core to it, even if the dialogue doesn't always find the right words to say. I like my review a lot and I think you should read it!!

Digimon Story: Time Stranger is a pretty good game with some glaring structural issues that loves to punch above its weight with strong emotional turns. It's a bit too convoluted for its own good, but I love where it lands. Between this and Cyber Sleuth, y'all shouldn't be sleeping on these games.
