It is being used as a crutch to get more people into profession specific jobs who lack administrative skills and reduce the overhead in hiring people specifically for those admin roles unfortunately.

It is not about being attacked for having a personal opinion. It is about opening doors for abuse and disrespect by creating safe spaces for people who hold even more extreme views on who should be allowed in what spaces. Plz be kind.

Parasocially shifting responsibility for your emotional regulation to someone you do not know because their public presence may not be harmful to the people at their table or the community but is something you do not personally prefer is inherrently unkind.

It does not make you an inherently bad person to prefer specific playing styles, not like certain game tropes or even realize certain images and sounds are making you personally uncomfortable. It becomes an issue when you shift responsibility for your discomfort to a person or group of people.

Gentle reminder, if you attempt to define your personal preferences with culturally normalized perceptions of how someone needs to present themselves to be perceived as non-threatening/acceptable then you are not providing constructive criticism, you are absolutely criticizing but it is subjective.

Did you know that there is both a color and a b&w version of MMM available for accessibility purposes? It was also highly inspired in design by Rufus Estes's Good Things to Eat,The First Cookbook by an African-American Chef. It is a lovely setting agnostic system that I can't wait to share with you.

I can no longer use my phones and headsets that work it for work anymore and so I need a headset for work however...over the headsets usually give me migraines or trigger headaches. Does anyone have recs for migraine sensitive headphones/headsets/buds designed for office work?

There is also the winter drive that involves people sending crochet/knit gifts and winter wear for babies. This is something close to my heart and why I've kept using this platform to build community. I want to run a drive in 2025 but I am trying to decide how to do it ethically and sustainably.
