We've seen the Trump story in the UK.

Boris was teflon, until he wasn't. When he threatened the officials who could remove him, suddenly the fact they had no idea how to replace him didn't matter any more.

Trump has neither the restraint, nor the wit, to avoid threatening Congress or his cabinet.

If I was doing financial guidance counselling, I'd say watch The Big Short, and consider the current crypto & AI bubbles.

They're all betting on a gain, and the way to make money is always to move against the crowd, before the crowd figures out where it doesn't want to be anymore.

Opinion polls are stupid because they only measure the opinion of the politically engaged.

The politically disengaged still have opinions (fuck the lot of them, they're doing nothing for me) and we should try, and be seen to be trying, to help such people.
