Genuinely I agree. Game facilitation and doing narrative driven collaborative stories are skills all on their own that it feels like some GMed games/pods lack. Too much of a focus on GMs having total control over everything without understanding how to help keep their players engaged.

I want to see more gmless games in the AP space that aren’t relegated to one shots or mini series. Give me long form shows told like a round robin campfire story.

I think we’d see a lot more experimentation and perhaps even new forms of AP start to emerge.

Hope's Hearth isnt exactly this but I think we skew pretty close! We play gmless ttrpgs all set in the same universe. Sometimes it's a set of one off characters, but theres a lot of games that have recurring characters with continuity. :D
